Dear Lord,
I come before you today to praise, honor and glorify you. I thank you Lord for wrapping your loving arms around us daily. For protecting us, for keeping us far from evil. I lift up to you today our brothers and sisters who have been devastated by Hurricane Harvey and ask for your hand of protection to be on them today and the coming months. Let us always remember who directs the moon, and the sky, and the wind, and the waves, Lord. Let us turn our faces to you, and rest in your presence.
In Jesus’ name!
Amen.
First, THANK YOU for your messages, calls and texts while checking in. I cannot tell you how much it means to me.

Houston Food Bank and the Food Bank of Corpus Christi are asking for donations.
Again, please continue to lift everyone affected by Hurricane Harvey up in your daily thoughts and prayers. I can not imagine the sadness and suffering some are enduring during this time but know that my heart is open with so much love. The news images are indeed dark and tragic, but in my belief, I know that rays of light are on the horizon and starting to shine through.
And if there’s one thing I learned it’s that Texans are PROUD to be Texans! They stand by one another and help their neighbors when needed. They give selflessly and constantly give with their heart.
Stay strong Houston & Texas!
