Tis the season to dress up and hit the holiday party scene with your man or besties! Today, I’m in holiday spirit by planning all my party looks. Holiday parties are the time to step out of our comfort zones and add a little lace, velvet, dazzle and suede!
In today’s post, I’m keeping things casual and chic because not all holiday parties require black tie attire! For starters, two fabrics that every female should have in their closets for winter is suede and leather. When wearing leather it’s so easy to put together an entire black wardrobe. For a more feminine and chic look, add a pop of color. Above I broke things up by adding a grey skirt. Think outside the box — think shoes, accessories, bags, etc. If you want to take things a bit more casual, trade in the skirt for jeans. I suggest leaning towards a dark wash with no rips. Every girl should own the perfect pair of skinny jeans. Wear them to your work party with a flirty blouse, leather jacket, and high heels.
Side Note: If you are not into dresses or skirts, you can always trade them with a marvelous version of dressy pants and festive top. Of course, you don’t want to look over-the-top, that’s why you better keep the rest of your look neutral. For instance, pair sparkling bottoms with neutral color top and muted structured blazer.
Lastly, let’s talk about this black cami. I love lace for a lovely and sexy look! The satiny-smooth construction and easy-to-layer silhouette make it perfect for all occasions. Whether you’re headed for a night on the town with friends or spending time with family for the holidays, it’s a must have!
